Singapore only has two seasons. It’s either super sunny and bright coupled with heat and humidity or it rains and pours sporadically like Mother Nature has suffered a broken heart.
No matter what weather we are having never leave home without a sunscreen. We have more sun than shade in Singapore and pro-longed exposure to UV rays is terrible for the skin.
My current holy grail of SPF-ness is Laneige BB Cushion (Pore Control) that is loaded with SPF 50+ I don’t like the smell of SPF on drugstore products so this BB cream from Laneige works well for me. You have a choice of normal skin, combination skin and oily skin as well. I swear by this product because it has such a huge range of skin tones covered for every ethnicity. I’m slightly more than tan so my colour of choice is No. 33 Coffee. A bit of dab goes a long way and it stays at least 8 hours without touch ups. It gives a nice dewy glowy look on the skin. However if you prefer a matt skin tone, just brush thru a face powder of press powder and you’re good to go.
Laneige also offers Sun Block that is SPF 50+ PA+++ good for all skin types. This is for someone who doesn’t use a lot of make up or no make up and is ideal for outdoor activities. Going for a jog? Slather this on, you will thank us in years to come.
